MGM’s own sniffer dogs constantly patrol with their handlers. In a world where terror attacks seem to be happening nearly every day, the surveillance team doesn’t want anyone to view MGM National Harbor as a so-called 'soft target.' On Wednesday, MGM invited ABC7's Maryland Bureau Cheif Brad Bell in to make just that point. 'Security is phenomenal here,' said Ruggiano. There are 900 cameras in the casino and another 1,400 monitored by a different team on the rest of the property. Ruggiano's primary focus is on the actual casino floor and gaming operation.
